OUR MEALS are: Fresh (Not Frozen), Healthy, and Convenient. Heat, eat, and enjoy! The meal plans are beneficial to anyone looking to get a headstart to a healthier eating habit. EDHI meals are portioned, balanced diet that has many benefits to overall health. It is beneficial to anyone looking to lead a healthier life. It is our belief that you are investing in your health by letting us prepare your food and we will work hard to make sure your personal needs are met.

What are the calorie counts?
The calories for each meal varies anywhere from 290-410 cal depending on the dish, an average of 1,200-1,600/day for the full plan (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks); even the snacks, typically and mostly green salad w/ grilled chicken are a full meal. The slight fluctuation of daily calories will help prevent your metabolism from adjusting to a one set point which leads to burning more excess stored fat. We do not have the exact calorie count for each meal per se. The calories in our meals come from lean protein and complex carbohydrates which help you feel fuller longer and help your body function properly. Pls refer to the page for Nutritional Information.

When do I eat my meals, they are not labeled as breakfast, lunch or dinner?
The meals delivered (or picked up) on Monday are for Tue-Thurs; the meals delivered (or picked up) on Thursday are for Fri-Mon. The meals are interchangeable: pick any meal you feel like having for lunch or dinner. Typically, you should eat your meals and snacks every 2-3 hours (your meals or ours), and drink a lot of fluids throughout the day to help keep you hydrated.

How long should I stay on the plan?
It depends on your goal: is it weight loss, weight management, or convenience? We have different meals plans. For weight loss program (full meal plan), the recommended length is 4 months. Individual results may vary, depending on the physical activity, amount of exercise, age, and current weight. Any type of diet should be coupled with exercise, and is recommended for best result. (Please check with your physician before starting any physical activity or diet). And of course, you can stay on our program for as long as you like (for convenience or weight management); it is designed as part of a healthy style philosophy.

The full plan seems like there’s so much food. Isn’t that over eating?
Eating the meals provided every 2-3 hours seems so much but it is the portion your body needs to get the proper nutrients and function well and fight food cravings. You should not skip a meal or go more than 3-4 hours without food. Our meal portions seem big (especially when you’re eating every 3 hrs) but they are loaded with vegetables, good carbs and protein.

And why do you load the meals w/ vegetables, seems like there’s too much?
Vegetables have a low fat and calories content,and yet are loaded w/ vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and phytochemicals thereby minimizing the problem of excessive weight or obesity. A high vegetable diet definitely assures a relief from all the major and minor problems of the body. According to experts, people consuming greater amounts of vegetables coupled w/ lean protein in their diet are high on energy and feel less lethargic or stressed out.

Can I really lose weight with your full meal plan?
If you stick to any diet plan out there, you WILL lose weight. If you stick to our full meal plan for a period of time, you will see the difference; eventually eating healthy just becomes a way of life for you, naturally. Our long-term customers can attest to this. If you want to truly win with a diet plan, you have to stay focused and stick w/ it.

What is your approach to healthy lifestyle of eating?
Earthly Delights provides a unique approach to helping working-class people enjoy the convenience of healthy gourmet meals DELIVERED right to their doorsteps. Earthly Delights (EDHI) offers the following waist management plans to help our clients succeed in their goals: weight loss, weight management, or simply just the convenience of healthy quality gourmet meals. We focus on how to eat better and not to eat less. Our body needs nutritional balance to lose weight properly without sacrificing great taste.

What if I need some time off?
If you need to take time off, we ask that you give us at least 72 hour notice. The missed days will be added to your plan’s end date. The meal plans are weekly subscription and are automatically renewed. We make it easy for you to stick to your plan and not have you worrying about ordering next week’s meals. So unless we hear from you, your order is automatically processed each week. There is certainly no obligation to commit to your plan, you can cancel anytime.

What days do you deliver or can we also pick up meals?
Meal delivery and pick up are every Mondays and Thursdays only between 4pm – 9 pm depending on your location (for pick up, anytime after 5pm). Some deliveries occur on Tuesday and Friday mornings on select areas.Your meals will be delivered in a soft cooler bag with ice packs/gels. Pls. leave the empty bag outside your door on delivery days. Unreturned bags will cost $25.00.
